White and light: One simple reason to steer clear of white and all light shades is the threat of stains. Once the muddy waters splash on your dress, the stains stand out very prominently and are very difficult to clean.

Brown: The water everywhere around carries dust and mud which is not very pleasant to look at. Wearing a similar colour would only add on to the dull feeling.

Grey: The grey blanket overhead gives a rather gloomy feeling. In such conditions, if you step out wearing grey, you will only be gelling in with the grey clouds and the mood they carry with them.
