DCW 2013: Sabyasachi Mukherjee's Lace Couture

Ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee opened the Day 1 of the DCW 2013 with his Opium collection. The PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013 has started today and Sabyasachi Mukherjee has showcased his all new couture on the ramp.

The celebrity designer made use of creamy white colour, golden, lace, white thread floral motifs, sequins work and shimmer in the DCW 2013 couture collection. We saw lots of fine and attractive lace work on the ramp. The ramp was glittering with few sequined and shimmer work on the saree and churidar pants.

Sabyasachi made use of lace on creamy white colours. The elegant and classy collection was crafted even with Bengal fabrics like Tant, cotton and cotton silk were seen extensively on the ramp. Sabyasachi desgined a lot of outfits using lace and white thread floral motifs on creamy white anarkalis and sarees. Sabyasachi Mukherjee's Couture at DCW 2013 was in short, awesome! We expected Rani Mukherjee or Vidya Balan as showstoppers, but Sabyasachi didn't need any showstpper for his Opium collection!

Lace White Saree

This is one of the breathtaking ensemble from Sabyasachi at DCW 2013. The sheer creamy white saree has white lace at the bottom. It has been teamed up with a full sleeve sequined blouse.

Floral Prints and Lace

Sabyasachi has used floral prints and lace extensively at DCW 2013. Be it the lehenga or saree, prints and lace were fashionably used by the ace designer. Even sherwanis with a matching printed churidar pants were seen on the ramp of DCW 2013.

Lace Anarkali Gown

This sheer lace creamy white full sleeve anarkali gown looks awesome! The floral lace motifs on the overall anarkali floor length gown makes it look heavy. The printed sherwani on the other side is fresh to the eyes!

Heavy Jewellery

The plunging neckline of this sheer lace anarkali gown has bee accessorised with a lot of jewellery. The thick mang tikka and the huge round nose ring looks ethnic.

White Anarkali Gown

This bright white anarkali lehenga is also lace and has been accessorised with pearl jewellery.

Printed Bandhagala Churidar

The knee length bandhgala printed has been teamed up with a net dupatta. The dupatta has white lace work on the borders.

Sequined Saree

This shaded sequined saree is from none other than Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The shaded sequined saree has heavy silver work on it. It has been worn with a sheer blouse.

Pink Churidar

The heavy pink churidar has been embellished with golden work. It has been worn with a net dupatta that has hues of lace on it.

Shimmers

Sabyasachi Mukherjee showcased sequin as well as shimmer at the DCW 2013 ramp. The outfits were studded with shimmering golden and silver work.

Net Saree

This cream coloured net saree has silver work on it. It has been worn with a heavily embellished full sleeve golden blouse.

Golden Shimmer

Sabyasachi Mukherjee also used golden work on plain prints to make it look shiny and heavy.

Golden Sequined Saree

The golden saree has sequin work all over it and has been worn with a golden bodice full-sleeve blouse. The sherwani on the other side has white lace on it.
