LFW 2013: Anita Dongre's 'Jaipur Bride' Collection

Anita Dongre presented her bright and colourful 'Jaipur Bride' collection on Day 1 of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive 2013. From white to bright pink, several colours were seen on the ramp.

The show was presented in the typical Rajasthani style with live performance by Sona Mahapatra. Models graced the ramp in contemporary and modern designs. Anita Dongre's 'Jaipur Bride' collection at Lakme Fashion Week 2013 also showcased the very popular bandej work on the ramp.

Bright pink coloured outfits with bandhej work were creatively designed to bring the feel of the Rajasthani bride. Even dhoti pants were designed keeping modern trends in mind. Both men and women wore dhoti pants with embroidered blouses and kurtas.

Anita Dongre's Rajasthani style ramp show had celebrities. Urmila Matondkar, Gul Panag, Purav Kohli walked the ramp for Anita Dongre at Day 1 of Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive 2013.

Urmila Matondkar

Urmila walked the ramp at the opening day of LFW winter/festive 2013 for Manish Malhotra. Even on Day 1, Urmila walked the ramp for Anita Dongre. She looks great in this lace strapless purple dress.

Gul Panag

Gul walked the ramp wearing a see through black saree. The saree had golden zari work on the borders.

White

The royal colour white was used in 'Jaipur Bride' collection of Anita Dongre. From white bandhgala jackets to lehengas, white was one of the primary colours seen in 'Jaipur Bride' collection of Anita Dongre at Lakme Fashion Week 2013.

Juhi Chawla

The actress looked gorgeous in a bright mustard yellow anarkali suit. The suit had silver sequin work on it.

Purav Kohli

Purav was another celebrity spotted at Anita Dongre's show at Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive 2013. He wore a stripped bandhgala jacket shirt.

Pearl

Jaipur Bride collection of Anita Dongre used elegant pearl jewellery which looked classy on the ramp.

Sheer Anarkali Gown

This is one of the best creations shown by Anita Dongre at LFW 2013. The sheer blue anarkali gown has thread floral details on it.

Dhoti Pants

Ink blue silk dhoti pants were wrapped up with embroidered jacket like blouse by women.

Bandhej

Traditional Rajasthani print Bandhej or Bandani was used in 'Jaipur Bride' collection.

Blue and Silver Lehenga

The cobalt blue lehenga has heavy golden and silver embroidery on it. It has been worn with a heavily embellished waist length blouse.

Red and Golden Silhouette

This red silhouettehas golden work all over it.

White Sherwani

This plain white sherwani has been worn with a bandhgala jacket. Looks royal.

White and Silver Lehenga

The white lace lehenga has silver work on it. Looks shimmery on the ramp.

Embroidered Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit is in trend and Anita Dongre created this modern jumpsuit the traditional way. The pink flowing jumpsuit has a plunging neckline with silver mirror work on it.
