Fashionable Ways To Wear Kurtis
There are many traditional outfits that can be worn down with ease and comfort. Traditional Indian wear basically comprises of saree, lehenga, salwars and kurtis. While salwars and kurtis can be worn on a regular basis, saree and lehengas are restricted to age group and occasions.
Salwar kameez is the most preferred traditional Indian wear among women of all ages. A salwar kameez always looks elegant and ethnic on a woman. However, as fashion trends takes its toll upon us, the pattern has changed a little. Nowadays, kurtis have been teamed up with fitting leggings and pyjamas. Few kurtis can even be carried off with style by teaming it up with denims. Recently, at the prestigious Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2013, many fashion designers showcased different stylish kurti designs and patterns that can be worn by women.

Floor length kurti
This floor length kurti looks more like a gown. The full sleeves and heavy embroidery work makes it a perfect occasional kurti to wear for a ceremony.

This kurti is slit from the waist and has been teamed up with a printed skirt that has frills. Looks ethnic and stylish too!

Collar neck kurti
Neon colours are in fashion this summer. This cotton kurti has been teamed up with a dhoti style pyjama.

Tunic kurti
