Lakme Fashion Week Winter-Festive August 2012 has welcomed new comers this year. Bright colours and different collections from new fashion designers have been seen on the ramp. While, red, blue, black and cream was a commonly seen colour, patterns, prints and designs were fresh for our eyes. Be it traditional, formal or western wear, Lakme Fashion Week Winter-Festive 2012 has it all. Well, a fashion festival is incomplete without the celebrities who these days walk as the showstopper for their favourite designers. After seeing celebrities such as Sidhartha Mallya, Preeti Desai, Amy Jackson etc, we all were impatiently waiting to see gorgeous diva Kareena Kapoor on the ramp. On the grand Finale of Lakme Fashion Week Winter-Festive August 2012, Kareena dazzled on the ramp in a different look. She walked as the showstopper for two designers Kallol Datta and Pankaj and Nidhi. Lets get a brief of what Kareena Kapoor wore at the Lakme Fashion Week 2012.

Kallol Dutta:

For this young designer, Kareena Kapoor donned a gothic look. Dressed in a black and white dress, Kareena looked really appealing. The bold black and white knee length tie up coat was teamed up with a black-bustier and black leggings. The messy semi-beehive hair bun, black nail paint, and black and white eye makeup added a dramatic effect to the look of the diva. The metallic neck piece was a perfect accessory to add to the Gothic look. Little glimpse of her cleavage added an appeal to the look. Jet black tip toe high heel edges was a perfect combination. The perfect pout and the right attitude on the ramp made the audience applaud the diva for her look and appearance.

Pankaj and Nidhi:

For the husband and wife duo designer, Kareena Kapoor again chose to wear black. Kareena donned a jet black signature basket woven fringed dress. The edgy outfit has infusions of leather and the detailed fringes added a touch of glamour to the bold and stylish outfit. Pankaj and Nidhi are new fashion designers and Kareena was grateful for working with new fashion designers. The big collar and messy semi-beehive hair updo added grace to the look. Black doe eye makeup with a pinch of white eye shadow was a great colour contrast for the bold look. Black tip toe high heel edges was repeated but it could hardly get noticed. The fringes of the black edgy outfit covered up all.

These were the two different outfits that Kareena Kapoor wore for designers Kollal Dutta and Pankaj and Nidhi. As a showstopper, we loved to see two extremely different outfits in terms of patterns and designs but in the same colour, black.
