Winter has crept in back and again and its time for warm clothes. Not just clothes, but trendy clothes. It is time to explore the latest winter outfits to embrace the climate with a fashionable note.

Volume
Volume is the word for winter this season and cocoon volume is the buzz of the season blowing up proportions of parts of the garments with unrelated themes is the definition of adding volume. Volume represents itself in the sleeves; collars and skirts Trapeze and swing jackets are expressions of cocoon volume. Big wide set collars provide volume that is not fattening and draws the attention to the face. The big collar can also extend itself to a fashion accessory marking a bold fashion statement.

Layering
Layering provides a fashionable ensemble to provide warmth without heaviness.
Layering is easily accomplished with tights especially black. Black tights with flimsy black dresses are very attractive.

Sheer or shinny glossy tights are trendy. Boots, knee socks, and slouched boot provide a break to the monotony of wearing the standard nude tights. Tights that are super sheer are also a fashion definition of this winter. Tops in semi sheer or chiffon materials worn one on top of the other with lace, cable knit or more down parkas textured layers are trendy. Sheer tops worn on opaque tops provide beautiful layers.

Belts and jewellery can also be layered.

Fur Trimming
Fur trimming on luscious fabrics in the hems, cuffs, edges, necks and strapless bands are all trendy this season. Mink fur trim, fox fur collar, sable fur trim are some of the fashionable fur trims introduced in trapeze coats, and tops of skirts and other garments.

Tones of the season
Earthier tones, greys, black, white, red, charcoals, ochre, rust tones, red, burgundy, purple, plum, deep blue, khaki and olive are the hues of the season.

Cargos, camouflage, belted jackets and trench coat and other military inspired clothes are hot picks of the season.

Accessories
Shoes: Ballerina flats, animal print shoes, equestrian and biker boots fall into this fashion category.
Bags: big bag, mammoth bag, small bag, new clutch bag serve as ideal accessories for your winter clothing. Leather bags and exotic leather bags in reptilian skin and bags with animal prints are in vogue this winter.
Gloves: Gauntlet gloves, long gloves, decorative cut out gloves glove your hands in style this winter.
Hats and Hoods: Fur trimmed hoods and small and peaked hats and large and voluminous hats are this winter fashion expressions. Visors and packable hats are also hot picks of this cold season.
