Sobhita Dhulipala's DIY Beauty Ingredient: 3 Ways To Use It
It is undeniable that Sobhita Dhulipala is a versatile actress who has carved a niche for herself in both the Bollywood and the Southern film industry.
Sobhita has really made her mark and since then she's reigning in the film and fashion worlds.
In the case of skincare, Sobhita swears by incorporating pantry staples into her skincare routine, and her favorite is - raw milk!

What if we told you that raw milk has been proven to be a natural cleanser that prevents early signs of ageing as well as being a natural and organic sunscreen?
Here are three ways in which raw milk can be used to treat your skin.
Raw Milk For Skincare: Is It Beneficial?
The benefits of raw milk for skin are extensive. Its topical application is said to make skin healthy and glowing. It has been widely used to keep the skin supple and youthful for thousands of years [1].
Due to its moisturising and nourishing properties, milk is often incorporated into skincare products today.
Is raw milk suitable for acne-prone skin?
A natural anti-acne agent containing lactic acid, raw milk is rich in vitamin A, which contains skin-healing properties and is one of the best moisturisers and cleaners available.
Using milk to treat acne may seem logical. After all, vitamin D deficiency is linked to acne, and fortified milk is packed with vitamins. Milk may also provide a soothing effect on acne that is painful [2][3].
Though there is only anecdotal evidence to suggest that milk may temporarily reduce the appearance of acne, dairy milk consumption has been linked to higher rates of topical acne. In the long run, applying milk to your acne may clog your pores or irritate your acne-prone areas [4].
Therefore, if you have acne-prone skin, you should avoid using raw milk.

Raw Milk For Skin
1. Raw milk-sandal face pack
Ingredients: A mixture of sandalwood powder, multani mitti and milk works wonders as a face pack.
- Mix 1 cup of sandalwood powder with 1 cup of multani mitti.
- Once the paste has been well combined, slowly add the milk.
- Apply this paste to your face for about 15 minutes, until it starts hardening.
- Use a washcloth to remove it.
2. De-tanning milk mask
Ingredients: You will need 2-3 tablespoons of milk and 2-3 teaspoons of tomato juice
- Mix the two ingredients well and apply evenly to the face using a brush.
- Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse with cold water to remove.
- If you wish to remove tan from your body, you may take greater proportions of the two ingredients.
- For best results, repeat this DIY recipe at least three times per week.

3. Raw milk as a skin toner
Ingredients: You will need raw milk, lemon juice and rose water to make this toner.
- To raw milk, add a few drops of lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
- If you have dry skin, you may wish to add rose water.
- Apply to the face and neck and allow to dry for fifteen minutes.
- Wash the skin with lukewarm water if it is oily and with normal tap water if it is dry.
NOTE: As long as you do not have an allergy or sensitivity to milk, using dairy milk on your face will not cause any harm.
