Homemade Ubtan Face Scrub For Glowing Skin: 11 Different Ways To Make It
As one of the oldest face scrubs, ubtan has been used since ancient times. What is ubtan? An ancient paste prepared by mixing a number of natural ingredients together is called ubtan.

Among the ingredients used to make ubtan are turmeric, milk, curd, saffron, rose water, fuller's earth, lemon, gram flour, barley flour, mint powder, sandalwood powder, mustard oil, jasmine flowers, rose flowers, different types of pulses, neem and honey.
The benefits of ubtan have been widely recognised for their beauty wonders and skin healing properties.
Mainly a yellow-coloured medicinal paste that gives a glow to minimise tans, and brightens and lightens skin naturally, ubtan face packs are an excellent choice for anyone seeking a natural and trusted solution to skin problems [1][2].
Ubtan And Skin Type
Ubtan is recommended by beauty experts to be used in accordance with the nature of the skin, which will result in healthy, beautiful and shiny skin. Ubtan is a traditional herbal remedy that has been used since ancient times.
It is now available ready-made in the market in the form of face packs and face scrubs. And all you need to do is simply open the packets and apply it to your face [3].
Nevertheless, ubtan face packs must be used only after understanding the nature of the skin. Moreover, it can be used not only on the face but also on the body. Rub it lightly after it has dried to remove it. Do not use soap or face wash after application.

Homemade Ubtan Recipes
Recipe 1: Mix equal amounts of champa flower, jasmine and rose petals and grind them finely. Add sandalwood powder and rose water and prepare a thick pack. Apply to your face, let it sit for 15-20 minutes and wash it off.
Recipe 2: Make a paste by mixing 1 teaspoon of mustard oil and a little milk in 2 teaspoons of gram flour. to this boil and then apply on the body. After some time, remove it by rubbing it lightly with your hands.
Recipe 3: Take a little cream and a few drops of rose water, mix them together with half a teaspoon of multani mitti powder and apply it to the face. After it has dried, rub it gently with your hands to remove it.
Recipe 4: In one spoon of gram flour or gram flour, add a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of lemon juice. Now, prepare a thick paste by adding raw milk to it. Apply the paste to the face, let it dry and wash it off with warm water.
Recipe 5: Mix one tablespoon of mustard with one cup of milk, grind it finely, and apply it to the face. Let it dry and wash it off with cold water, pat dry.
Recipe 6: Mix a few drops of lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of curd. Apply it to the face. Wash your face after 10 minutes and rinse with cold water.

Recipe 7: Take one tablespoon of urad dal and soak it in raw milk for half an hour. Now grind it coarsely and mix it with rose water to prepare ubtan. Apply to your face and wait for 15-20 minutes before washing it off with warm water.
Recipe 8: Make a paste by mixing 8-10 threads of saffron with milk. Then add melon and cashew seeds (in equal quantities). Grind all the ingredients finely. Apply the paste to your face and wash it off after 15 minutes.
Recipe 9: Make a thick paste by mixing rose water with one teaspoon of sandalwood powder. Apply it to the face for 15-20 minutes. After that, wash your face with cold water to remove the paste.
Recipe 10: Add 1 teaspoon of honey, and some lemon juice, and mash one ripe banana. Apply the prepared paste to the face. After 5-6 minutes, rub it off lightly.
Recipe 11: Mix 1 teaspoon almond powder, 1 teaspoon cream, 1 teaspoon lentils, and a few drops of rose water in a thick paste. Apply the paste all over the body or on the face, and rub it off after some time.
