What Is Combination Skin? And What To Do To Take Care Of It
Combination skin can be tricky. Here is everything you need to know about combination skin
We all know about the different skin types like normal, dry and oily skins. But very few people are aware about what combination skin is. Would you like to find out? Well, keep reading.
In a way, people with combination skin are blessed, because they get to have the best of both dry and oily skin types. But that of course means that they face the problems faced by these two skin types as well.
It can be quite tricky at times to know how to take care of combination skin types, and that is why we will be telling you what it is and how you should deal with it. If you know how to deal with it and have a set skincare routine, it should not be difficult for you at all.
Here's all you need to know about combination skin.

1. How To Identify It:
If your skin feels oily along the T zone, that is the nose, chin and forehead area, and it is either dry or comfortable everywhere else, you have combination skin. It can either be normal combination skin or dry combination skin. In dry combination skin, your skin feels tight and dry around areas like the mouth and cheeks but is accompanied with an oily T zone. In normal combination, the skin is comfortable elsewhere, except for the the oily T zone.

2. What It Is:
Combination skin types are extremely common and consist of skin that is not just one type. The skin is oily at certain areas while remaining dry or normal at other areas. Taking care of this skin type can be really challenging because you may need to use multiple products.

3. Problems:
This skin type faces problems that are faced by both dry and oily skin types. We know, that doesn't seem pleasant does it? If you have combination skin, you would face problems like breakouts and even flaky skin. The trick is to tackle each skin area with the products suited for the skin type. Go for gel based moisturisers.

4. Fixes:
Regular, weekly exfoliation would keep you free from flaky skin and clogged pores. Clogged pores as we know cause breakouts. Make sure you use a gel based moisturiser to keep your skin hydrated.
