Important Bed Time Ritual To Follow Every Night

Just like following a beauty regime is essential in the morning, there are a few dos and don'ts to follow in the night as well. Taking care of your skin and pampering it in the right way plays an important role in getting a clear and flawless skin.

Following a morning beauty regime and not paying attention to your skin at night can altogether lead to no improvement on the skin. Here we mention to you essential bed-time skin care routine that you need to follow before going to bed.

1. Washing Your Face
We're sure you have a hectic day's schedule, where you need to face pollution every day in and out. Today, every street and highway are completely filled with pollution, which obviously affects the skin. The dust and dirt ultimately settle on the skin and thus lead to clogged pores. Clogging of pores can lead to various other skin problems and hence it is advised to wash your face before going to bed. You need not use a face wash always, but just washing your face with plain water can help to clean the skin.

2. Remove Makeup
Removing your makeup before going to bed is a must. Makeup is mostly made of various chemicals and toxic substances, which become active on the skin if kept for a prolonged period of time. So, it is better that you remove makeup before going to bed. If you don't want to use makeup removers, you can use coconut oil or olive oil, as it helps to remove the makeup efficiently.

3. Tie Your Hair Properly
Never sleep with open hair at night. This is because when you sleep at night, hair mostly irritates the skin and also may lead to any infection or skin problem. Moreover, if you are suffering from a dandruff problem, sleeping with hair open may settle dandruff on the hairline, which in turn produces acne over the skin. So, always use a soft rubber band to tie your hair at night.

4. Using An Eye Cream
If you spend enough hours over the laptop or TV, then these are sure to leave you with puffy eyes. Using eye cream around your eyes can help to reduce puffiness and also dark circles. Due to no oil glands present near your eyes, the under-eye area remains dehydrated always.

5. Moisturise Your Skin
Moisturising your skin in the morning and at night is important. You can use a light-weighted moisturiser or an organic moisturiser that can help to remove the dead cells, debris, and pollutants from the face. However, it is very important to choose the moisturiser according to your skin type. Mostly all moisturisers are filled with various vitamins and proteins that help to restore the pH level of the skin and also help in cell generation. Using enough of moisturising cream is very important to get a glowing skin in the morning.

6. Take Care Of Your Lips
Lips have always been an avoided part, unless and until you don't see a chapped lip or blood oozing out of them. Lips are sensitive parts that need minimum maintenance and hence they should be taken care of well just like any other parts of the body. You need to apply a lip balm or any essential oil before you go to bed. Oils help to restore the hydration and also heal chapped lips.
