Tips To Moisturise Your Skin Using Honey
Moisturising lotions are one of the most essential skin care products Although these commercial moisturisers may help in soothing dry skin, the dryness on the skin still persists. At the same time, the chemical content in the moisturiser will have a bad effect on the skin.
With all these complications related to the chemical moisturisers, we end up going natural by using organic products. These organic products are not just beneficial for the skin but are also cost cutting. And one such natural organic product to moisturise the skin is honey.

Honey is known to have essential health and skin benefits since time immemorial. Being rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, it is undoubtedly beneficial for the skin. The most essential nutrients for the skin in honey include Vitamin C which helps to repair cell damage caused by ultraviolet rays of the sun. Honey also has Vitamin B5 that helps to regulate oil production in the skin and hydrates dry skin. The antioxidant compounds helps kill bacteria and microbes in the skin.
Here are few tips to moisturise your skin with honey:
1. Mix 2tbsp of honey with equal quantity of orange juice to prepare a face pack. This mixture will not only moisturise, but also firm and tone your skin.
2. Grind a peeled ripe apple and add 4tbsp of honey and blend it well. Applying this on your face and neck. leave for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water to hydrate the skin.
3. Banana is also known for moisturising the skin. Mash a ripe banana and mix well with honey. Apply this over your face and neck, leaving it on for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
4. Make a moisturising lotion by using honey and almond oil. Mix a cup of honey and a cup of almond oil. Apply this natural moisturiser and leave for 15 minutes. Wipe off with a wet tissue or cotton cloth to moisturise the skin and tighten it.
5. Boil a cup of oatmeal and combine it with half cup honey. Apply it on your face and neck and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water. This honey face pack helps get a glowing skin and also reduces sun tan.
6. Mix 2tbsp honey with mashed avocado and prepare face pack to nourish skin. This pack will nourish and moisture your skin. It is for dry skin. Avocado is a rich source of natural oils. This homemade honey avocado face mask will nourish,tighten and improve the skin complexion.
These are some of the natural ingredients that are mixed with honey for relieving you from dry skin. These moisturising honey face masks are very essential for skin care.
