Say No To Tan Lines
Tanning is the basic summer skin problem specially for Asians. The problem is worse with tanning lines. Tan lines is when the skin which is exposed to sun gets tan and the skin covered is fairer. It usually happens when we wear half sleeve shirts. The part which is cover with the shirt sleeves will be fairer than the rest of the tanned hands. The tan line spoils the look when we wear something which is sleeveless. The two skin tones of the hand, looks bad. Tan line usually can be seen around the neck, feet and hands. How to prevent tan lines? -
1.The best way to prevent of tan lines is to cover up when out in the sun. Covering up oneself keeps away the ultra violet rays which results in excess melanin formation and thus, sun tanned skin.
2.The next best way to prevent tan lines, is to massage your body regularly with olive oil and lemon. Mix two spoons of olive oil and one spoon of lemon juice. Massage your body for 20 minutes with this oil. Wash it with a mild soap and cold water.
3.Potatoes work wonder on tanning. Grate some potatoes, extract some juice. Apply this juice on the sun tanned skin. Keep it for 15 minutes and wash it off with cold water. Other way is to boil the potatoes, cut in into slice and place it on the tanned area.
4.Regular application of aloe vera extract also helps prevent skin from tanning. Aloe vera is a rich source of vitamin E which promotes healthy skin and rejuvenate the skin.
5.Massage the skin with baby oil and leave it for an hour. Soak yourself in warm water for half an hour, then scrub your skin using a soft towel. This ex-foliate the skin, removing the dead skin, thus promote beautiful skin.
