Bananas: This is a natural fruit for skin care. The creamy pulp of banana is luscious and soothing and works well as a carrier to other ingredients too. Banana scrub is a great moisturizer that helps exfoliating the skin and also tighten it. Mash bananas with ¼ vanilla extract/ essential oil with a fork and scrub the paste on your face for 3 minutes. It cleanses the skin and moisturizes it.
Papaya: The fruit contains papain, enzymes that act as a natural exfoliant to clear dead skin cells and make the skin ultra-smooth. Papaya facial scrub also helps in cleansing skin pores, clearing dirt and debris and excess oil from the skin. Mash papaya pulp with a fork to avoid making it too watery. Add oatmeal and sugar and mix it till the sugar melts. Apply the scrub on your face and gently massage in a circular for 1 minute. Leave it for 3 minutes and then rinse it off with water or milk.
Peach: Whip peach and egg white together in a blender and make a smooth paste. Apply this peach scrub on your face and leave it for 30 minutes. This paste helps you tighten the skin and moisturize it. Peach is also used as a cream to get fair. Mix peach with milk/cream and apply on the face. Wash it after 2 minutes.
So, you can use these seasonal monsoon fruits on your face as facial scrub and enjoy the health benefits of these fruits at the same time.
