DMAE Cream – Why Not A Good Option?

'Facelift in a bottle' – DMAE skin serum by Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals has been a rage since the time it was introduced. The very concept 'Facelift in a bottle' is what attracted users but the DMAE cream soon got struck by controversies regarding safety issues and customers wanted to shut the facelift in a bottle in the bottle itself.

The controversy on the DMAE cream sparked when Pharmacologist Dr. Francois Marceau of the Center Hospitalier Universitaire de Quebec, brought the facelift cream under scrutiny. The study of the revealed that the DMAE cream had more complications that the facelift surgery procedure. The cream was tested both on rabbit skin and human skin and it was found that the cream chemicals swells the skin cells with water, which reduces the fine lines and thus, reduce wrinkles. These chemicals which are present in the DMAE cream have a harsh effect on the skin later and thickens the epidermal layer.

These reaction on the skin done by the DMAE cream kills the skin cells within twenty four hours. Dr. Francois Marceau has reported to Reuters, “From our point of view the cells are altered. They stop dividing, they stop secreting, and after...24 hours a certain proportion of them die."
