Victoria Beckham's New Beauty Regime
After diamond bleach, gold facials and fish pedicures, now it is the turn of the nightingales to contribute to the cosmetics for humans.
When it comes to keeping up with her Hollywood pals in terms of beauty stakes, Victoria Beckham swears by a cream that contains bird poo! Victoria, who has long battled problem skin, puts her new clear complexion down to a bizarre new beauty regime involving bird poo.
According to the singer"s pal, she has been splashing on 100pound-a-pop "geisha face mask" treatments. The mixture of nightingale droppings has been used for centuries in Japan to give women the complexion of teenagers. "Victoria loves to travel and pick up different beauty secrets," the Daily Express quoted the pal, as telling Closer magazine.
"When she was in Japan recently she was admiring how women in their forties look under 25 and was told about these facials. "Then she found out they were available in the USA and popped into a salon for one.
"The results were so good she even picked up some nightingale dropping goodies to use at home." Over the years Posh has tried every trick to improve her skin, which is scarred by teenage acne," the pal added. The nightingale droppings are sterilized, mixed with rice grains and bran and left on the face for almost an hour.
After all beauty does not come easy and cheap and the celebs are ready to walk that extra mile to achieve the perfect look.
