Beach Skin And Body Care
It is summer, an ideal time to have a rattling picnic experience on the beachside. Exposure to sun on beach can cause wrinkles, blackheads, acne, scaly temples, broken blood vessels and cold lip sores. Contrary to the popular belief, tanning is not safe for skin and may cause skin burning and skin cancer too. Before you plunge into the beach to welcome these unwanted signs of old age, here are some summer beauty tips for you.
Beach skincare tips
-
;
- The skin is more prone to sunburn in the midday heat. So plan to go to the beach before 10am and after 4 pm, as the sunrays are less intense during this period. ;
- Put on tightly woven dark coloured suits and pants. ;
- Apply water resistant sunscreen lotion 20-30 minutes before going to the beach and reapply it after swimming. These sunscreens can stay only for 90 minutes so repeat applications for the safer skin. ;
- Remember to apply it on dry skin and leave it for a while to absorb the moisture. ;
- Experts say that water acts like a lens and lets the sunlight penetrate more deeper into the skin. Use heavier sunscreen if you are playing in the water. Go for sunscreens that contain additional moisturizer such as Vitamin E and Aloe Vera. ;
- Apply sunscreen even when you are underneath the beach umbrella as the rays can reflect of the beach sand too. ;
- Use cocoa butter to re-moisturize the skin and to prevent peeling. It can also be used as an eye drop to remove sand particles from the eye. ;
- To prevent dried sun burn lips apply medicated lip protection guard with SPF. ;
- Use water resistant eyeliners, mascaras and bronzers for that glamorous look in the water. ;
- Wear summer sunglasses that protect against UVA and UVB rays. ;
- Wear hats with wide brim as it provides additional sun protection to your face and hair. ;
- Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water. ;

Skin is the largest organ and the most sensitive part of our body. Special precautions and protection is needed to enhance its beauty. Harmful ultraviolet rays can cause many skin diseases. In a recent survey it was stated that these rays affect 10 million people every year. As the sun intensifies during the summer, it is more important than ever to prepare your skin, lips and hair to endure these dangerous sunrays, especially while you are on the beaches.
