Steal All Eyes On Your Wedding Day!

With only a few weeks left for your wedding day, you are busy completing your things-to-do checklist... clothes, jewellery, trousseau, caterer and so on. But in this rush are you forgetting the most important thing to do? Remember it is going to be your day. All eyes and cameras are going to be fixed on you. So, how can you settle for something less than the best when it comes to your make-up?.On the onset of the wedding season, here are a few must dos for all the beautiful brides-to-be.
Take professional help
The first thing you should do is to consult a beautician and discuss with her about the type of make up that will suit you. Let her have a look at you hair and skin type and suggest any treatment, if required.
Hair
care
Decide on the perfect haircut. It is important to get your hair cut well in advance so that you do not mess it up just a few days before the D-day. A haircut in advance will give you the time to grow back your hair, in case you do not like your new look. If you look good and feel comfortable with your new look, you can just opt for a trim a few days before the wedding.
Make your skin glow
If you have an acne prone skin, take your beautician's advice and plan out a course of treatment. A regular scrubbing and facial can also make a difference to your face. Choose from a range of herbal and normal varieties of facials. Drink a lot of water and make sure you get enough sleep. This will help your skin to glow.

Pre-Bridal Package
Any beauty salon you go to, you will be given a few pre-bridal packages to choose from. List down your requirements and opt for the package that suits you the most. In most of the salons, packages can be tailor made, depending on the requirements of the customers. All the packages include routine services like manicure, pedicure, facials, body polishing etc. However, it is important to consult your beautician and discuss what facial will best suit your skin type. You can choose from a range of facials like the diamond facial, gold facial, herbal facial and so on.
Plan in advance
Once you have bought your wedding dress and the jewellery to go along with it, do not forget to show it to your beautician. This will help her to decide on the complimenting colour palette and the kind of make up finish to give you. Have a trial session to check out the colour scheme and the overall look.
Choose your colour scheme wisely
Remember, make ups are not only to make you look attractive on that moment but also should get out the best in the photographs. You obviously don't want to look at your wedding photographs later in your life and think – oh god! What was wrong with me?
Avoid bright colours as it will make you look ashy and pale in the photographs. The best way is to choose a natural colour palette that best compliments your skin tone and the colour of your wedding dress. A loud make up with a heavy, shimmery lehenga will spoil your look. Highlight any one part of your face with loud colours- be it the eye, lips or the cheek bones. Avoid stressing on all your features.
Remember,
the
secret
behind
looking
glamorous
does
not
lie
in
overdoing
things.
