The Glowing Make Up In Summer
As the scorching summer heat touches the sensual beauty of the skin, many may get their wardrobe dusted down for some exclusive summer styles. But what about your make up bag? This is the prefect time to give in for a summer makeover. Here are some tips to keep you pretty like sunshine:

For Your Eyes

  • Use eyeliner pencil of warm chocolate, slate gray or navy shades with a light hand.
  • Eye shadows in lighter, neutral shades are perfect for the summer.
  • If you don't want to go to the effort of applying a full make-up in the hot sun, a touch of mascara and a little eye liner will 'open' up the eye and bring your face to life. For a lighter, more summery appearance, swap your black mascara for one that is either brown-black or brown.
  • Curl your lashes and use glossy black shade on them to make them appear longer and your eyes bigger.
Use only a very fine line with eyeliner.
  • To complete your look have your eyebrows professionally shaped.

    For Your Lips

  • Add a summer lip color like a coral or pink lip gloss.
  • Instead of a heavy lipstick, opt for a lip gloss with a smidgen of color. Nude lips look so much more natural. Coloring with a pencil and then applying a layer of lip gloss should do the trick.
  • If you still prefer a lipstick then, choose from light pink and mauve, which are "icy" colors and look cool. It is better to stick to lip-gloss during the day. For the night, you can use brighter colors, as artificial light tends to drain color. You can go for plum, wine, burgundy, coral, bronze. You can even wear a bright red at night.

    For Your Facial Skin

  • During summer many of us make sure to flaunt trendy sunglasses to protect our tender eyes, however we neglect the rest of the face. This will naturally make the eyes look paler when compared to rest of the face. To avoid this, generously rub sunscreen with SPF 30 with a broad spectrum over your entire face and body every two hours.
  • In case, you haven't taken the necessary summer precaution and the damage is already done, use a foundation with the shade of your tanned skin to cover the area under your eyes and blend it well with the rest of the face. Then use nude or light brown eye shadow to give them a natural look.
  • Light shade of bronzer on cheekbones and chin gives you a beautiful suntan. Gold shimmer under brows or across cheekbones is another luxury you can use.
  • Use warm, sunny and bright blush

    For Your Fingernails

  • Did you know that sheer pastel, pink and beige nail polish acquires a yellowish tint after being exposed to sun for two days or more? To avoid this, use a clear nail gloss with inbuilt UV protection topcoat and do not forget to rub sunscreen on nails too after every two hours, just like the rest of your body.

    For Your Hair

  • Make sure to wear a hat or scarf while venturing outdoors as warm blond and naturally medium brown hair with highlights may acquire coppery shades in sun due to oxidation. Hair color gloss can help you to achieve the shine again.
