While soaking up the sun feels great, it often comes with an unwanted souvenir which is a sun tan! Excessive sun exposure can lead to darkening of the skin, which not only affects your complexion but also increases the risk of premature ageing and skin damage.
If you're looking to fade that tan and restore your natural glow, here are seven expert skincare tips to help you achieve just that!

Exfoliate Regularly
Exfoliation is key to removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover, which can help fade a sun tan more quickly. Incorporate a gentle exfoliating scrub into your skincare routine two to three times per week.
Look for exfoliants containing alpha hydroxy acids like glycolic acid or beta hydroxy acids like salicylic acid, which help reduce dead skin cells and reveal more even-toned skin.
Moisturize Daily
