The Ultimate Tips For Damage-free Hair
The trick to fix or heal damaged hair is early detection. If your hair looks dull and lifeless, no matter how many products you use, it may be time to shelve those products and go natural. Damaged hair looks dull, is brittle and can break away easily.
There are many contributing factors to damaged hair. Pollution, overexposure to sunlight, etc, are no friends of ours when it comes to maintaining the health of our skin and hair. These factors specifically play a huge role these days.

Then, there's heat styling and all the multitude of products we use to make our bad hair day go away. Heat styling actually can further damage the hair to a vast extent.

Have you seen old pictures of your grandmother? I bet, she looked flawless and had shiny, perfect hair. Do you think she achieved that from heat styling and products?
No! Back in their time, these options were not even available, which definitely means they had better hair overall.
So, ladies, when damage strikes what do we do? We stop all these habits that we think are fixing our hair, but are in turn actually ruining it. Therefore, here are a few tips to avoid hair damage, have a look.

Avoid Heat Styling: When you know your hair is damaged, step away from the blow dryers, curlers and straightening irons. If you absolutely must use one of these, use a heat protection balm or cream before styling.
Leave-in Conditioner: Use a leave-in conditioner that has an added amount of sunscreen to it, so that the sun affects your hair minimally. And try wearing a hat or a scarf as often as possible.

Oil: The age-old trick that our mothers and grandmothers have been telling us to do, and yet we ignore it. Oil your hair with warm coconut oil every week at least an hour before washing it. You can also use a few tiny drops of coconut oil on the ends of your hair after it dries. This makes it look shiny and moisturised.
Diet: Follow a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids. These can be found in fish, almonds, flax seeds, etc. What you eat can overall impact your appearance. You must also drink lots of water, at least one litre every day.

Protect Your Mane: If you go swimming, protect your hair with a swimming cap, so that the harmful chemicals found in chlorine, in the pool, does not affect your hair. Chlorine can be excessively harsh on the hair, making it look dead and limp almost immediately.
