Tired of the same boring hairstyle time after time? Check out this tutorial on how to put a French braid in the front of your hair, and wow your friends and family. This hairstyle is perfect for parties, or occasions that require you to look dressy.
You’re probably familiar with the French braid, and remember it as your favourite hairstyle in school. Well, this tutorial on how to put a French braid in the front of you hair will show you a glammed upversion: a cleverly braided hairband of your own hair! If you’re a mum looking for that perfect princess look for your little girl for the next birthday she attends, try these French braid steps.
10 WAYS TO REFRESH HAIR COLOUR
Before we get started on how to put a French braid in the front of your hair, it’s important that you know how to do a French braid. If you’re not entirely sure of the French braid steps, we are here to help you. It may seem hard at first, but with practice, this hairstyle is easy to do.
So, without further ado, let’s look at how to put a French braid in the front of your hair, or use it to create a hairband.

Step 1: Brush your hair carefully to remove tangles before you begin the French braid steps. The second day after a shampoo is good, as your hair will have settled down. Freshly washed hair might have too many flyaways.
Step 2: Separate the front portion of your hair. Consider where you normally place a hairband – this is a good place to use as the demarcation line. Take care that this section is at least 2-3 cm wide. Part this section.
Step 3: Now, we don’t want the rest of the hair now. It will be comfortable if you tie the remaining hair into a ponytail to avoid mess during the process. This will help you work only on the needed hair in the front.
Step 4: Comb out the sectioned-off hair in the front. Part this in the middle to create two French braids on either side of your forehead. Or, take all the hair from one ear, and comb it to the other, to create one single French braid hairband.
Step 5: Take a strand of hair, and separate it into three. Braid the right strand over the centre, and the left, over the right, just like you would for a normal plait. Now add more hair from the right to the right strand that you are holding, and more hair from the left to the left strand. Now plait these.
