Looking traditional is something we all desire at some or the other time. Sometimes taking a break from casual jeans and top is very important. There are many traditional Indian braid hairstyles. Side braid is just one of them. It is sleek and looks stylish too. This messy side braid is a modified version of the classic side braid.

Flowered bun
In classic Indian movies, you can see actresses wearing a gajra. You can either pin it and spread on two sides of the shoulder or wrap around the hair bun. Another way is to pin some flower petals like this.

Half pinned hair
Half pinned hair is a traditional Indian hairstyle. Accessorise with few hair accessories like a sparkling hair pin or clip to look stylish.

Even now, you can see old women tying a fish braid out of their thinning hair. It didn't look good at that time, but celebrities now named it as fishtail side braid and is is very much in trend.
