Wash your hair: This is the first step you should follow to detangle your hair. After shampooing, apply little more conditioner on your hair to make the task easier. Conditioner softens the hair, makes it manageable and treats the dryness.

Use your hands: Before starting with the brush, you must try to detangle your dry and damaged hair with your hands. Be gentle to avoid hair loss.

Use a wide tooth comb: This is the third step to detangle your dry and damaged hair. Comb with spikes can also be used to detangle the hair easily. This might take some time, so be patient.

Use a serum: If you are finding it difficult to detangle your hair, apply serum or hair conditioner on the hair and then softly brush. Note, if you are using a hair conditioner, wash those hair strands with water to avoid making it sticky and oily.
