Celebrity facialist Keren Bartov, Gal Gadot's facialist recently revealed Gal Gadot's skincare secrets for gorgeous glowing skin and we've got the scoop for you here.

1. Keep your hands off your face
This one shouldn't come as a surprise. Keeping your hands out of your face throughout the day can be challenging, but it can cause skin issues if we keep touching them. In addition to aggravating existing conditions like eczema, it can spread oil and dirt, causing breakouts and clogging pores [1].
2. Be sure to properly wash your face
In any skincare routine, cleansing is the most important step, as it removes dirt and oil, as well as allows your skincare products to absorb properly. The skin will be thoroughly cleaned without being stressed by a double cleanse with gentle products followed by micellar water applied using cotton pads.
3. When it comes to acids, take no risks
When it comes to skincare, acids can be an effective tool when it comes to achieving healthy, clear, and glowing skin. However, it is critical that you use acids with the proper concentration and formulation to achieve the best results [2].

It's always best to start smart and safe and build up to higher concentrations over time. An expert will match you with the right acid at the right concentration.
4. SPF should be worn at all times
If you're in direct sun, reapply your sunscreen every two hours, or every hour if you're at the beach. Use it all year round. Make sure you always use a separate SPF, because your daily moisturiser and foundation won't give enough UVA and UVB protection. Use broad-spectrum products.
5. Skincare at home and bespoke treatments
It is possible to make your skin glow with bespoke treatments and a consistent at-home skincare routine. Skin results are 70% attributed to active skincare ingredients at home and 30% attributed to medical devices.
6. Don't overdo the retinol
While retinol is an effective anti-ageing ingredient, it is not suitable for every skin type since it is a very powerful acid that may cause redness, inflammation, and irritation when not used in the right concentration [3].

7. Vitamin C is essential
There are many benefits to using Vitamin C on your face, including evening out your skin tone, brightening your complexion, and minimising scarring [4].
