Who does not love awesomely shaped and well-painted nails on their hands? Isn’t that the plain reason why most of you go ahead with a nice manicure? Many of you suffer from weak nails owing to which either they break or peel off. They grow soft and brittle and automatically peel off leaving you in a sad state. At such times, you keep wondering what is it you can do to cure your peeling nails. Well, in most cases weak nails could be a partly hereditary but, then it can be solved if properly cared for. Peeling could also be due to calcium and other mineral deficiency in your body. It could also be because your nails do not possess the right nutrition. So, you will need to care for it in a way that it gets the right nutrition and becomes a bit strong. Here are a few tips to cure peeling nails and make them appear pretty.
Treat It With Olive Oil

Olive oil is a great way to cure peeling nails. Soak your nails in a bowl containing virgin olive oil. For a week or so, continue to do it every day for a period of 15 to 20 minutes. After a week, you can soak your nails twice in a week. Continue with this treatment for a while and you will enjoy healthy and pretty nails. In fact, this treatment would definitely cure your peeling nails.
Cure With Cuticle Cream
Vitamin E is essential to treat peeling nails and make them healthy. So, you can use a good cuticle cream with this powerful ingredient to cure your peeling nails. Apply this cuticle cream to your finger nails regularly and enjoy healthy nails.
Glove Your Chores
Well, when you are washing or cleaning or gardening, in some way you are weakening your nails through use of harsh and harmful detergents. You don’t really wish to spoil the health of your nails by doing so. To prevent nails from damage, you could probably cover your hands with a glove and do your chores.
Use Nails Properly
Many of you probably use your nails to open tins, cans, dial numbers etc. You are actually making your nails brittle by doing this. Instead you could use some other tool like a pen to perform these tasks.
Multivitamin Dosage
It is a deficiency of Vitamin A and Vitamin C that is causing the brittleness in your nails. So, you need to have the right amount of Vitamins and Calcium in your body to prevent this peeling of nails. You could possibly take multivitamin and calcium supplements on a daily basis to cure peeling nails.
Massaging The Nails
Massaging is the best way to induce blood circulation and make your nails stronger and healthier. You could apply a moisturising lotion to massage your hands and the cuticles. In fact, after you have washed your hands, make sure you apply a moisturising lotion too. This will help in treating peeling nails.
Avoid Nail Polish Remover
Avoid removers that contain acetone as that might damage your cuticles and ruin the health of your nail. Also, use removers twice in a month and not more than that.
