Knives To Banish British Christmas Bulges

Brits in an increasing number seem to keep patience at bay to banish the Christmas bulge. Christmas calls for over indulgence and Britishers prefer the knife to daunting dieting process to shed the extra pounds gained during the festive season.

"Christmas can be a depressing time once the guilt sets in after a period of over-indulgence," the Daily Star quoted Transform spokesman Shami Thomas, as saying.

In the view of plastic surgeons, stats point out an increase of 40 percent who prefer to do away with their bloating bulges with the aid of Liposuction, Tummy tucks and gastric bands.

With the increasing interest in shedding the extra weight with surgery, Surgery firm Transform has recruited more staff to handle the increase.

Liposuction tops the enquiries with an 21 percent while gastric band calls attributed just 2 percent to 8 percent of the over all enquiries to banish the British bulges.

"But for some starting yet another dieting programme or joining a gym is too much of a daunting process, or they don't see immediate results," Thomas added-AGENCIES
