Holi 2023: Follow These Vaastu Tips To Have A Happy And Blessed Holi

If you see your city decked up in colours of VIBGYOR and hues of hope and life, it is Holi that is being celebrated. This extremely joyous festival that lets people be their infantile selves at least for a day gets all the merrier at night. Huge bundles of wood are burnt to signify destruction of evil. This festival does not impose any discrimination on the categories of people, be it in caste or status or just about anything as it engages each and every soul in the fantasy world of Holi celebrations.
People sing and dance, to their hearts content, jocularly deal with things, light bonfires and play the games that Krishna played around it, with due reverence. Radha and Krishna are the unofficial presiding deities of the game of colours, Holi. So have an idol of them at home and offer your prayers before you begin your festivity. By following the Vaastu tips, your Holi celebration acquires layers of meaning. Look into these tips that are listed below.
1.Spring clean your home this Holi time as it clears the negative debris accumulated in and around the house.
2. Get your name embossed or imprinted on the entrance gate or the door, as it strengthens your ownership and helps invite good luck and vibrations into the house.
3.Use bright solid colors to draw Rangoli and use flowers and auspicious symbols on the ground close to the main door where people are not likely to step on it and dirty it.This brings happiness and prosperity into the house as well as establishes good social relationships.
4. Chimes allow the lucky vibes to enter the house, and fill the home with harmony. Also place green planets in the east direction as relationships can be preserved with all their goodness.
5. The usual Holi offering of dry fruits and milk mixed with sweets should be given to God or prosperity , Lord Ganesha before distributing it amongst guests.
6. Shoes left at the doorway will shoe out the good fortune from your house. You should have a shoe box or rack to keep them in. Have plenty of boxes like this during the time of Holi when people are likely to place their slippers carelessly before entering your home.
7. Have a small waterbody like a small fountain or a small pond near the front side of the house as it ushers peace and harmony between the members of the house.
8. Broken mirrors are indicative of Rahu Dosha and as a negative Vaastu symbols. The jarring reflections from the mirrors induce illusion and other mental problems in the inhabitants of the house.
9. Northeast direction of your house is what you should be focusing on this Holi. Instead of lining up the shelves with newspapers, use lining mats in Yellow, Orange, or White.
10. To usher in peace and prosperity the most important thing to be kept in mind, is to keep your kitchen sparklingly clean.
11. Even after consistent attempts you fail to achieve success in your attempts. It looks like the deity for Success is avoiding to visit your home. This is due to the defect in the house Vaastu which is why you must tie a Toran on to the main door of the house to rid the house of the Vaastu dosh.
12. North or East-West direction, should be where you should be keeping your aquarium for display in the house. This is known to be the direction governed by Lord Kubera. He is the one in charge of sending money and prosperity in your direction.
13. Bring a bamboo plant from a nursery and place it in some corner that can accommodate it. Bamboo is known to banish negative energies from the site as well as end the health afflictions of family members. It is also kept in houses to enhance luck and prosperity. Remember Lord Krishna's flute was made of Bamboo.
14. A crystal tortoise is a harbinger of financial progress. If an image of Kubera is engraved on the back of this tortoise, it augurs even better and invites wealth into your home.
15. Keeping an image of a Dragon in your house ensures the safety of your family members. Dragon is a powerhouse of luck and an effective antidote against the effects of evil eye. It never lets your family members suffer from the effects of Evil eye cast upon them by someone. Do this before Holi arrives.
16. Chinese coins are known to banish ill luck, usher in happiness and contentment in the houses they are found in. So bring Chinese coins, fold them in a red cloth and tie them with a red thread, and tie them onto the handle of the main door of your house. You will receive all that you expect from the Chinese coins.
