Chandra Grahan 2023 Mantras To Chant As Per Your Zodiac Sign
This year the world will witness Penumbral Lunar Eclipse on 5 May 2023 and it is also the Full Moon Day of Vaisakh Month. This day will coincide with Buddha Purnima, which is the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha. Eclipses are astronomical events and yet they have been mentioned in the scriptures. However, they are not considered auspicious.
This year, the first Lunar Eclipse (Penumbral lunar eclipse) will begin on 05 May 2023 at 08: 44 PM IST and will end at 01:01 AM IST on 6 May 2023. It will be visible in South/Eastern Europe, most of Asia, Australia, Africa, the Pacific, the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Antarctica.

There will be no sutak period during this time as well. The second lunar eclipse will happen on 28 October 2023 at 04:24 pm and it will be visible in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, North/East South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, and Antarctica. However, the lunar eclipse will be only visible from India if the weather is clear.
There is a belief that negative energy is on the rise whenever there is an eclipse and therefore many look for remedies to ward off anything that is not positive for their life or family. Numerous mantras are chanted as per zodiac signs on this day to keep the obstacles at bay and get rid of the ill effects of eclipses and get the blessings of Gods and Goddess. Let us know about them and the benefits they will bring.
